By accessing or using DiffLab (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of service

DiffLab is a free, browser-based tool that lets you compare text, lists, and JSON. The Service runs entirely in your web browser. There is no backend server that processes your input. No account is required.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the comparison results are accurate, complete, or error-free. You should not rely on the Service for decisions where accuracy is critical (such as legal, medical, or financial decisions).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Since your data is processed locally in your browser and we do not store it, we cannot be responsible for data loss or exposure resulting from your own browser, device, or network.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process or compare content that you do not have the right to access.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service or its hosting infrastructure.

Intellectual property

The Service's source code is available on GitHub. You retain all rights to the content you input into the tool. We claim no ownership over your input or output.

No account or data collection

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
